Q. What are the ticket prices?
A. Presale tickets are $15 each for school-age children and above.

Q. Will there be electricity/power at the field?
A. Yes, there will be reliable power at field level on the front 50.
Q. Will videos be provided?
A. A complimentary video recording through competition suite will be provided to each band.
Q. Where is Station Camp HS?
A. Station Camp High School is located at 1040 Bison Trail in Gallatin, TN 37066. Off Exit 12 on Vietnam Veterans Parkway/Hwy 386. We are about 30 minutes north of Nashville.

Q. What awards are given out at SCMI?
A. We give out 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards in band, percussion, and guard in each class, as well as Overall guard, percussion, music, visual awards, Most Entertaining Band, Best Pit Crew, Spirit Award (based on Sportsmanship), and Sweepstakes Awards in Small and Large Divisions.
Q. How are classes determined?
A. We divide the contest into classes based on total musicians (Winds & Percussion) once we reach the entry deadline.
Q. Will there be medical help available, if needed?
A. Yes! We will have EMT’s and nurses available all day for first aid, and there is an emergency room available less than a mile from campus should the need arise.
Q.What about food?
A. We will have an OUTSTANDING hospitality area for directors, staff, and drivers. Our concessions for parents and students are also outstanding as well.
Q. Oh no! What if it rains?
A. We have dealt with some rain over the years. We will move the contest into the auditorium, where it will become an exhibition for music comments only. Only those groups who perform their full show outside are considered for class awards.
