MISSION STATEMENT

The Thundering Herd provides an activity that strives to make a positive difference in the lives of the band members by providing musical and visual experiences and performances, and to assist them in achieving their potential as they develop confidence, cooperation, leadership, responsibility and high standards of excellence and character.

 

Participation in a strong marching band is an opportunity for students to grow in many areas – musical, physical, emotional, and social.  Few other high school/middle school activities present such prospects for development.
